I read on mousesavers that only one person in your party need to have an annual passport in order to get the resort discount, just to make the reservation in that person's name.

Can that person be a child, since the tickets are cheaper, or must it be an adult that makes the room reservation?

I have read on that it can be a child. However, I've also been told that since the reservation must be made by someone over the age of 18 and that someone would have to be the passholder, you would need to purchase an adult AP in order to receive the discount. Your best bet would be to ask CRO when you call for the ressie.
