Do annual Passholders get to enjoy magic mornings? Our friend bought a 4 day ticket and my sis and I have annual passes and we were wondering if we can take advantage of the early morning entry with our friend?

Only if they are staying at a Disney Hotel or hold a MM enabled ticket.

So no.

Uh oh! Good to know! Our friends are Ap's, and I booked Breakfast with Minnie on a Sat MM, not thinking it would be a problem....Off to go call and re-reserve...

The breakfast situation might work differently. I have read about people being seated for Minnie's before official park opening even though they didn't have early entry. You're supposed to be able to let a CM know (designated entrance gate perhaps?) that you're there for the breakfast and then you get taken to it. Anyway, we have never tried this ourselves, but I'm sure I've read accounts of others who did this. So when you call Disney to change your reservation, you should explain your situation and ask first if it's necessary to change instead of just assuming. I figure it never hurts to ask, and you might find that your original plans will work out.

I've heard the same thing. You are probably fine with your current reservation.

If you have reservations and they are eating breakfast with you, everyone will be allowed in prior to park opening. It would work the same way for tours that start before the park opens.

There will be signs up near the entry gates directing you where to go for entry. I want to say it's usually on the left side as you are facing DL.

Your best bet would be to call Disney directly and verify for sure. I don't think you'd be able to get in unless you are going in for breakfast before park opening.

As others above have mentioned, there are no MM privileges for AP holders unless you are staying at one of the on-property hotels. BUT, you don't need to have or use MM to eat at Minnie's before the regular park opening. Anyone who has a reservation before the park opens will be allowed to enter the park for that reservation. Don't use your MM privilege for that day and save it for another day. :)
