Hello!
Does anyone know if they will be releasing any AP rates for May, I plan on going towards the middle of the month for 2-3 nights, and would love to get some decent rates for either either the DH or PP. Thanks so much!

That is the current rates that they have out.

get them at costco.... They generally offer a gift cert. with purchase.

This is what we did just a few weeks ago. We got them at the Fullerton Costco, which isn't too far (we were coming from Long Beach, so it was "on the way"). We got a $50 gift card with each AP purchase.

I don't think anyone but the disney people know if they'll give any nice rates next month. I thought they would already, but instead they just changed the 40% off rate into an extension of the AP8 rate, ending April 30.

They are probably hoping things will pick up so they can stop with the discounts, as we go towards Mem Day and into summer.

I have an AP that will expire at the end of this month. I'm thinking about a trip in September. Would I have to have an "active" AP in order to make a reservation with AP rates if they are available? Or can I buy one when I get there?

You can buy one when you get there. You just have to show it to the front desk by midnight or something like that (that's what we were told in May when we did the same thing). Right now they have the 5 for 3 at the DLR hotels as well, so you might get a good deal staying on site (this goes until September!).
