After our short vacation hiatus (but not really a hiatus since we were at the beach and my-in-laws during our short weekend) we returned to Disney refreshed and ready to check-in to Saratoga Springs with the last of our clean laundry in our suitcases!
We had reservations early that night for the Turf Club Bar and Grill, which I had not researched at all. I just knew that it was on-site and was easy to get reservations. We were very hungry when we checked-in so that could only help!
We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the hostess and I do believe the restaurant manager. We were shown to a nice table in an almost empty restaurant but it got busier as the night went on. I ordered a Magical Star Cocktail to start things off right.

This was very yummy but I tend to nurse my drinks since I gave birth and as a result it was a bit watery at the end. I thought that Roo would like the ice cube but she was too busy smacking the table and chugging water to pay me any mind.

Since I was starving I also decided to order the Roasted Mushrooms - stuffed with spinach, cheese, and garlic as an appetizer.

Yum yum yum! They were nice and hot (but not burn your mouth hot) and full of cheese and spinach. They also had a nice bit of crunch to them. The greens in the middle were nice as well.
For my entree I ordered the Surf & Turf Burger - half pound Angus burger topped with Watercress, lobster, and Bernaise Sauce.

This was good but so incredibly messy I don't think that I would order it again. It was good but not great. The sweet potato fries were awesome but I don't think that I would mix them with the regular potato fries (they were served this way). It was too much confusion for my mouth to handle.
Mr. Incredible ended up eating my regular fries and I ate his sweet potato fries. I finished about half of my burger before I had to go change a messy Roo (she does this every time we're out to eat, actually to be fair she does this about every time I eat a meal. 3 times a day.). When I returned it was cold and everything I ate was beginning to fill my tummy so we left sans desert.
On my food report card Turf Club Bar and Grill gets a C. The cocktail and mushrooms were good but I can pretty much get those anywhere. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again either.
