Annual Passholder retrospective discounts??

Hi All! We're currently at WDW and I have upgraded to an AP. We have tickets for extra hours event at DHS tomorrow night. Does anyone know if we are able to claim the Passholder discount retrospectively on these tickets or would we have needed to be a passholder at time of purchase? Thanks

I’d go to guest services and ask. A few years back we preordered memory maker then bought AP. I asked if they’d refund MM price and they gave me a gift card with the price I paid for MM on it. I asked at guest services.
