Do we know if the media dates have been announced? Or when media invites have to go out

You're probably right... The joys of a NDA. And with a company as big as Disney you don't want to take a chance and break the rules of the NDA.

Actually, the only annual pass DVC members get at a discount is Gold. So there would be zero incentive for DVC to purchase platinum or platinum plus unless they travel during Easter or Christmas (the 2 blackout periods).

Something else about Gold and DVC, DVC are the only out of state'ers who can purchase. I think it is a common pass that a lot want. Many non DVC and out of state would likely jump on it

I plan to convert our 6 day hoppers to a DVC gold pass in December. Right now we have Platinum APs that will expire the first week of October.

This has been an exhausting two weeks. I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth checking anymore. We have a trip in September planned, so maybe I should just focus on that. At least if we went then we would have the opportunity to go to SWGE more than one day of our trip and still be able to plan fast passes for the rest of our days. If we were to get a pass holder preview reservation for August, we might just skip the other days at Disney and go to Universal instead. I'm a planner so a last minute trip is difficult for me to put together. I just want some closure on this AP preview.

Did anyone else notice the number of passholder extras increased to 32? Too bad it’s just 10% off the Lion King dining experience at Jiko.

I doubt they'll do anything this week, it's a holiday. In addition, if CMs don't have dates. Media day seems to be a day or two before official opening.

I mean, Disney never closes, registrations are online and if there are issues tech support is always on hand. They might actually take advantage of people thinking it won't happen or People distracted by the holiday weekend

Yea we got the Plat promo as DVC Members and ours is still active. Watching for dates but not sure we could make a last minute trip. Already have a Dvc trip planned in November

Yes, and I also noticed the Lion King dinner was added to the top. This gives me hope that when THE LINK is dropped, it"ll be added to the top as well. Hopefully? I also noticed one of the other deals ended on 7/2.

I'm headed to Poly this evening to stream the 4th fireworks so my time outside will be limited (thankfully) but first going to watch Spiderman Far From Home at DS

If you are headed to the parks in the heat, always remember to ask for those free cups of ice water. Whenever we are there in the heat its extraordinary how many people refuse to hydrate or make their families suffer because they think their only option is a $5 water bottle. Its nice to see that Disney is starting to install water bottle refill stations.
