OK, it looks like someone accidentally removed you from the group last Sunday. I just looked up a GroupMe faq and it said only people in the group can re-add you if you've been removed. I re-added a Laura B, but I'm not sure if I did that right or if that's you lol

I don’t think she was accidentally removed. I think she was removed on purpose after using the thread for chatting after a few requests to please not post anything but the signup link in the chat.

What do you mean stay in chat?
If your joined to the group you'll get the messages. I get them in the app when people join. And text messages.

Yeah... I was on there for a hot minute... And the non stop notifications and drama that followed convinced me to drop it and don't use it anymore. I'll trust my refreshing skills and these boards to get me the info in time.

If your joined to the group you'll get the messages. I get them in the app when people join. And text messages.

I think they will have some kind of events for DVC members once the land opens. DVC brings them A LOT of money. They wont exclude them.

Previous event registrations have not been in the app. Check the AP website. I think we're lucky the app can even recognize the passholder affiliation

The first few hours groupme drove me insane. But I downloaded the app and things slowed down a great deal. I’m still in because I get an alert now and then, but it’s not bad. If it gets me a spot, it will have been worth it.

Just read on a AP FB thread I follow that a CM told someone they’d release emails sometime in July. Lol What a shocker. They did say it would be after the CM previews so just out of curiosity, have they even announced those yet? #grabbinstraws

My ex’s brother-in-law supplied the trees and plants in Pandora and he also did the same for SWGE. Usually his wife and her daughter get to go to an only them preview of the world. I should probably get back in touch with her and see if I can sneak on to their special preview for SWGE if they end up having one

I heard and saw the same thing. They are applying for the CM previews and are limited to one guest.

DVC members are eligible to purchase discounted Platinum and Platinum Plus annual passes. Are members who purchased those passes, using DVC discounts, excluded? You're right, it's not debatable.

I suppose many DVC members purchase lower priced annual passes with some blackout dates. It kind of makes sense to black out what is expected to be a very popular advance event.

Disney could make any AP pass holder preview a VIP experience. For $$$ you'll get preview access, a light saber and/or droid and maybe even a meal. First offer it as a package including 2 or 3 night hotel stay. Offer just the free preview if there are any left.

Give it another year or so and we might see these kinds of preview packages.

I haven't bothered, the whole point was to create some zero-traffic method that triggered NO ongoing notifications or alerts at all, until such time as someone actually posted the one and only genuine Link (whenever it finally becomes available) which would trigger an urgent text message. But the darned thing started sending out alerts as people joined, and then apparently people started using it to post chats/etc, thus defeating the whole point.
