There are many. Doesn't mean they're bad neccesarily, but there are many sites besides just bloggers that are blocked here.

I feel like the people that really cared about buying a pass because of these previews already did so last week. Maybe some locals upgraded this past weekend, but I can’t imagine there are many hold outs left.

I am sure this more about being 100% sure what date they can have these previews start (in other words making sure that the work is done in the land) .. rather than a ploy to sell more passes.

The chances that the dates will work for me are slim to none. We arrive on the 30th and our fastpass window opens on Monday. If we have get extra days off from work, change our flights, add nights to our reservation, get fastpasses for the additional days it would be really be nice to get that stuff in place sooner than later. Come on Disney!!

I kind of agree with this. And if you read what Pete says on dvcfan he is thinking a big fall discount is coming and the raising of the prices now for AP will soften the blow financially for Disney.

It does make sense if you think about it.

Were you able to get everything you wanted at the times you wanted? Just trying to gage just how crazy it is going to be. There seems to be a decent amount of availability for dining so that makes me mildly hopeful

Agree 100%. I was surprised they announced this so early. There was quite a bit of scaffolding still up around the spires when we were there 2 weeks ago. Granted, the only view we had was from SD in TSL. But the scaffolding is one of the last things to leave a construction site, followed by extensive cleaning.

Yes but I am going to add, I wanted FoP on 60 + 2 (not happening) or 60+ 4 at 6pm and didn’t want SDD (doing emm).

But no issues and have played with stuff a bit since. No problems!

Think about it from a business standpoint, I have a product NO ONE else has that Millions want. I am giving you an option to have it before anyone else if you buy a pass. I am sucking that dry as much as I possibly can. I am sure execs are getting daily updates of how many Plat AP's are being purchased. When they slow down or dry up then they release the link.

But no issues and have played with stuff a bit since. No problems!

My FP day was this morning....and I couldn't get FoP until 60+9 and 60+10! No 7D until 60+7 and SDD 60+4. I was thinking the entire 30 minutes of getting my FPs that the link was going to drop while I was in the middle of my selections!

Disney and I are playing a nice game of chicken. I want to see SWGE, and I want to see it as soon as possible (we're SW fans!), but I also want it to be as painless as possible for me and the fam (I know, I want it all!). We have a trip at the end of July (too early for previews) and I'm waiting to see if I can get a weekend spot at this preview to book something for August. Or if they announced some paid after hours event, I would book a trip. Or worse, comes to worse, I'll book something during the EMH dates Sept-Oct, but waiting for them to drop some discounts, LOL, not doing rack rate. So, literally, I'm just sitting around waiting for Disney to entice me to fly down to FL and spend some more moolah.

But I wanted 6pm, so I didn’t check for earlier. That’s why I’m pointing it out, I wouldn’t use it as a guideline.
