Question ..we are a family of 5 that are all passholders ... if is limited to one passholder + 3 can I reserve myself and kids and my husband reserve himself. We only have one MDE account and are all linked.
In theory, assuming it allows you to bring a guest you could all register individually and each bring 1 guest that has a qualifying AP (Platinum, Platinum Plus, or Premier).

Pandora & TSL I was able to register myself and my two sons, both adults, one has their own MDE so we are F&F, and both also had Annual Pass. We actually had a CM with us for Pandora and they explored other things in park then waited at Nomad Lounge for us.

Here is the exact wording on the email for TSL regarding who you can register and bring ...

Due to limited capacity, reservations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to one reservation per Passholder. You may register up to three other Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier Passholders linked in your friends and family list.
Valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass card and valid photo ID required at check-in. Limit one reservation per Passholder. Advance reservation required. Activities and attractions subject to change without notice. Reservations are nontransferable and cannot be sold.

This is going to be tricky for me. Our August trip has six of us, all platinum APs: me, my husband, my parents, and our 4 and 6 year old.

Ideally we’d all get to go if the preview happens when we’re there. I could sign up myself and my husband and kids, then jump onto my mom’s account and sign up her and my dad. But if they can’t get in it will be such a bummer, especially for my dad!

I could just not sign up up the kids...but I have no idea what we’ll do with them. Hmmmm.

While a Wifi outage is certainly stressful, it shouldn't have any impact on an online reservation system, that is unless you are trying to reserve the preview at one of those resorts.
We’re heading to wilderness lodge tonight so the WiFi better not be out there. Otherwise we get terrible reception on our phones. It might be better in Orlando though than here

I think the fear though (mine, anyways) is that in the time to go from one person’s account to the next, the event will fill up.

Well, here's hoping you could just move fast enough and select a different time slot at worst case. -- I have 5 of us on my F&F with APs that I want to book for, but my parents have 2 children with them for our Aug trip that are not APs. So I'm a little torn, too, about what I'll do. I'm planning to just book us all and then we'll have to swap who stays out with the non-AP kids. But the better option would be 2 different time slots for us, but I have the same worry you do about being fast enough.

You can't sign up a guest of any sort at all. Period.
You can sign up only a person who is also connected via your MDE account who has the qualifying AP also.
The wording posted a few posts back explains it really well

Here is the exact wording on the email for TSL regarding who you can register and bring ... ETA - This event will only be Platinum and above of course, (NOT GOLD)

You could use two separate browsers and simultaneously log in to both accounts. There would be time to open the second browser and log in to the second account after you get to the "waiting room" page of the first browser.

That's a good idea. I typically am signed in 2 my mom in 1 browser and me in another, anyhow. I didn't think about doing it like that!

Pretty well! The movers actually just came this morning and it took them about 2-3 hours to unload. I just got done unpacking the kitchen and just that took me 2 hours :crazy2:

Oh brother! haha Glad you're starting to get settled!

Its been what a week and a half now? About to leave for a non-Disney vacation .. I cant be checking my phone every few hours (or the family will kill me).

Oh well .. it was a fun thought to be able to do this, but without an announcement of a RELEASE time .. just cant keep doing this every day.

I simultaneously DO and DON'T hope that Disney waits for you haha!

I predict that the chance of their announcing WHEN they'll release the opening is less than .0001%.

Hmmm ... doesn't that say that the non-gold Passholder can add a Gold Passholder on the reservation? I have a local friend who is a Platinum Passholder who is on my "friends and family" list. If she adds us I wonder if she would have to be there with us. We're planning to be at WDW the week before GE opens.

That was talking about TSL, which included Gold AP. So don't get wrapped up on the Gold part. That's why I added the part in bold. This will not include any Gold AP

That was for a different event. This will be platinum and up only.

The TSL Passholder event was open to Gold. The SWGE one will not.

EDIT: We were all typing the same, at the same time, LOL.

I wasn’t sure the Disney site would let you be logged into two accounts in different browsers, but yes, I’ll try this!
