Just be aware that every time you visit this page it opts you out and you have to re-opt in. It takes 10-30 days to start getting emails again. If you've been here before and opted in DON'T TOUCH THAT LINK!

That has not been my experience with that page. I've visited it a few times recently to check my preferences settings and have never had it opt me out of anything.

Happy 100!!! :cheer2:

Based on prior AP Previews, were you allowed to register more than yourself?
Could an AP holder register both themselves and a non-AP holder?
In the past the guests also had to have the appropriate AP, so I would assume that will be the case this time.

PP was going off of something a CM told them on the phone

Was there any info on how many APs were allowed access, or used these previews?
For TSL, APs could register for one of two early morning slots (7 -8am and 8-9am) on certain days throughout September. Only one date and one 1-hour slot could be selected (in reality, however, an AP that registered for a particular day could attend both slots on that day - it wasn't policed or restricted). Only a few hundred APs could register for the slots on any particular day. Not to stoke expectations, but the TSL event was one of the best events I've ever done at Disney. There was practically no one in TSL. The best metric I can provide is 14 rides on Slinky Dog in 90 minutes - something I don't ever expect to be able to repeat.

This event will have much larger AP numbers and the slots will last longer - but it's a bigger land with more to do and experience. Best guess is that it will be a very enjoyable experience crowd-wise and sort of spoil it for subsequent, crowded visits (but these are the risks we willingly take).

No, it will have smaller AP numbers (fewer qualify, more restrictive)
If I understand what you are saying

I had an IT CM tell me Monday this is what happens. Perhaps its a glitch and not a wide occurrence, but as we're all sitting here waiting for an email it's worth mentioning.

We're talking two different things - I agree with you that the number of APs eligible to register is (much) smaller since it's limited to Platinum and above. In my prior post, I meant that (I expect) Disney to let more (eligible) people to register for each slot than they did with TSL. That event was pretty limited each day - I think the speculation was around 200-400 people each morning. If these preview slots were limited to those types of numbers, you might not see anyone else for your entire time there

Pandora & TSL I was able to register myself and my two sons, both adults, one has their own MDE so we are F&F, and both also had Annual Pass. We actually had a CM with us for Pandora and they explored other things in park then waited at Nomad Lounge for us.

Here is the exact wording on the email for TSL regarding who you can register and bring ...

Due to limited capacity, reservations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to one reservation per Passholder. You may register up to three other Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus or Premier Passholders linked in your friends and family list.
Valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass card and valid photo ID required at check-in. Limit one reservation per Passholder. Advance reservation required. Activities and attractions subject to change without notice. Reservations are nontransferable and cannot be sold.

If it drops tomorrow, I get a guaranteed spot on the date I need as a prize, right?:)

The earlier in August, the better for me. Past the 14th and I’m sunk.

Trying to remember what the limits were on the reservations at DLR. I would think they'd stay something similar to that at WDW with the preview. I
recall reading numbers in the 2-4k range. Sounds like a lot, but I watched the 1st time slot on a live stream and while it wasn't empty, it wasn't wall to wall either. From the crowd I saw waiting to go in, it was certainly way more than a few hundred.

Well since Disney seems to be in the middle of IT issues, I doubt it will launch today. Wait times unavailable through the app for hours and now I just saw that the wifi is out at some resorts.
While a Wifi outage is certainly stressful, it shouldn't have any impact on an online reservation system, that is unless you are trying to reserve the preview at one of those resorts.

I had gotten an (NOT THE LINK) email from Disney Destinations and nearly had a heart attack...turns out one of Fastpasses is no longer available. Why Disney why?!

I got one of those disney destinations emails today too with the dapper dans saying thanks for visiting last week. It was while I was interviewing someone for a job and I almost excused myself (luckily i could see the preview of the email on my watch haha)

No, it shouldn't have an impact on that, but could pull staff away from the reservation system. Since Disney sites crash so often, I would assume they would want a chunk of IT staff available when this drops in case of issues.

Question ..we are a family of 5 that are all passholders ... if is limited to one passholder + 3 can I reserve myself and kids and my husband reserve himself. We only have one MDE account and are all linked.
