I am thinking of getting an annual pass just to take advantage of onsite hotel discount if it is worth it.How much is the discount usually.I will be there early Oct. so is these discounts seasonal or year round? Thank you for any info.
The discount is up to about 30%. It is not always available, especially in peak times. You can use the code APH to check out the prices on the website www.loewshotels.com If nothing comes up, then nothing is available. You can do a bit of experimenting to see what current offers are.
You don't need the AP to actually book the room using the AP discount. I recommended actually securing the discount before you commit to the pass.
We are going to spend 4 nights at Royal Pacific starting August 18th. Rate for 4 nights was $187.50. AP rate is $154. It was a no brainer to switch to the AP versus getting the 4 day pass. Discounts on food and souvenirs are icing on the cake.
Trying to price out a trip for Feb 2014 over President's Day weekend. Tried the APH code but I am guessing they haven't put out the APH rates for 2014 yet?

Thanks for the insights. Just received a 15% off code for Travelocity. Brings down RPR to $275, HRH to $313 and PBH to $329 plus another 12.4% for taxes and fees. Thinking I should go for this just to lock something in and maybe try Priceline?? Priceline always makes me nervous though because of the uncertainty of not getting the exact hotel you want plus I like to have cancellation flexibility.
We were wondering the same thing and just made up our minds. We just bookeda deluxe pool view room at PBR (it has 490 sq ft w/ a bathroom that has a separate tub and shower) for $189 for Aug 12-16. So excited to go!
Rates come and go, so if you see a good rate, book it. You can change it later when booking through Loews if a better rate comes out. You don't have to have the AP when you book it.
