Okay. This is the first year we have purchased annual passes and I need to understand the room code issues...
I am traveling with a group of 7 adults and one infant. We are arriving in intervals. Four of the seven have an Annual Pass. We are using the DOW (AP discount with Deluxe Dining). Some of us would have done the 3 free thing if we were able to get a room, but it did not happen. So here is what I have.
Jan 10-14...Rooms #1 & 2 at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Each room contains ONLY annual pass holders (3 adults TOTAL) and a "free" infant (not that we are giving one away, just that we are not being charged for him
On the 14th, (our time at Wilderness Lodge is the 14-19) Rooms #1 & 2 all move to the Wilderness Lodge and an additional person shows up. This is fine as he is in a room with a passholder.
However, on the 16th an additional couple joins the group in their own room (Room #3).... They are also there until the 19th. They are currently booked with an Annual Passholder discount but do not have annual passes. Certainly since we have 4 adults who are passholders and only 3 rooms, we can have one passholder per room for our trip.. We were just trying to avoid the check in at the WL on the 14th, check out on the 16th , "shuffle" rooms check back in on the 16th with the additional people. This seems silly. Are they really going to make us pack up all of our stufff and move just to check back in? Will I have a problem making my 14-19 reservation be the 14-16 and then the 16-19 just to move one person over to another room to ensure that there is a passholder? It is a holiday weekend and these are my sisters' in laws (she wanted to request that only people with in-laws respond as she thinks no one else will understand...) So, experienced passholders- is this really how it works?
THANK YOU
