Hi! I'm not sure if this the right forum to ask but I was reading about annual passes and wondered if it would cost less to buy an annual pass than a park hopper with my package, I'm planning a trip not until May 2005 but when I do go I want to do EVERYTHING (well everything that can be done in 8 days :p ). I want to go to all the theme parks, of course, as well as the water parks and also do pleasure island (I'm 23 so I hope I can handle it :D ). So I'm just curious which would work out better. Thanks for any help you can give.

Deb Will's has a good analysishere.

You would need a preimum annual pass in order to get access to the water parks and pleasure island and Disney Quest.

When you buy multi day park hoppers with plusses, you still have to pay extra to get into Disney Quest.

The ultimate park hopper(UPH) would get you into everything.

The UPH cost = $380 for 8 days 7 nights

The PAP cost = $521

A 5 day Park Hopper plus costs $263. I believe this has at least three plusses (TL,BB,PI). If you wanted to go to DQ, it would be extra $33.

The 5 day park hopper would give you 5 days at the parks, two days at the water parks, and a night in PI.

Hope this helps

Don't forget to factor the savings in room cost when choosing. Although not set in stone, you save about 30-40 percent on room cost. Also, is there a chance you go back within a year, then it is no choice but AP.

You could do the Fun in the Sun pass. It's a 30 day pass, includes everything and a character breakfast. I think it is about $300. You can get them at http://www.paramountinternationaltravel.com/.
There are many post about these passes. If the search engine is working you might want to check it out.

I copied the following from mousesavers.com

30-Day Fun in the Sun Pass
The Fun in the Sun pass, which is not available at the park gates, is good for unlimited admission for 30 consecutive days to the following:

the four major Walt Disney World theme parks
the Disney water parks
Pleasure Island
DisneyQuest
Disney's Wide World of Sports complex (sporting events requiring a separate admission charge are not included)
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center
Salvador Dali Museum
Edison-Ford Winter Estates
Miami Seaquarium
Everglades Safari Park
The pass also includes one Character Breakfast voucher redeemable at selected Walt Disney World restaurants. For the current passes, which expire 5/31/04, the vouchers can be used at:

Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort
Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort
Hollywood & Vine at Disney-MGM Studios
Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom

Fun in the Sun is a multi-day pass, so it includes access to the Disney transportation system.

The 30-Day Fun in the Sun pass is promoted by Disney only in certain countries, including Germany, The Netherlands and Australia. You can purchase the Fun in the Sun pass at major travel agencies in those countries. I'm told it is not intended for sale in North America, but there are outlets selling it to US and Canadian residents (see below).

This pass is an excellent bargain for those who will be visiting Walt Disney World for longer than a week, since the price is only a little more than the cost of a 7-Day Park Hopper Plus purchased at the theme park gates.
