My interest has been peaked about APs after finding out that AP holders are paying only $49 a night for the POP Century Resort at the same time I am paying around $129 a night the week of Christmas.
We are DVC members, so I was hoping we wouldn't pay to stay onsite much, but on weekends if we stay I don't want to pay the points, and the holiday points at Christmas time are too high (only hve 150 points--and we won't be buying any more, that was a big investment for us).
So I was wondering. Do you get a discount on campsites at FW if you have an AP? Are there always discounts on resorts with APs? I was wondering around spring break time (last week of March) would they still offer discounts on resorts.
It seems like to make the AP feasible, we would need to spend 3 weeks at WDW.
OH! And another question. If I bought an AP just for the discount, can I reserve 2 resort rooms in my name? Next Christmas my sister is coming with us and we would need 2 rooms. Or does an AP holder have to be in each room reserved.
