Does anyone know if you can laminate your AP? I just dont see them lasting a year being just paper.

I've had mine for 3 trips now and had it replaced 2 times due to the readers not reading it. But I keep mine in a plastic sleeve that hangs from my lanyard. I was pretty worried myself when I picked up my AP and it has held up well. Not bent, no tears. :D

Oh, look for the plastic sleeve that is situtated landscape wise. Hubby has one that is the other way and it's harder for him to get his pass and fastpasses out. Try looking around at home. Hopefully someone will have suggestions since they seem to be used by lots of people for work. Mine was given to me as a gift.

Enjoy!!!

I kept ours in the paper "folder' that they gave uswhen we got them. I kept that in my wallet. The corners were a little roughed up, but they lasted the whole year. 25 park days worth.

I doubt they would work well laminated.

The passes SEEM like paper but they're mighty tough paper.

I just tried to tear my old pass in half and it's not possible!

I won't be worrying about my pass any more after this. Must be a paper woven with plastic or something. It's very weird stuff.

You might not be able to tear them, but from experience I know they don't wash very well!!

Note to self: Do NOT attempt laundering AP! :p :D

I was told that they are actually made of thin plastic fibers that are made into a sort of plastic paper. So they are pretty tough (but I still wouldn't try washing them).
