Just checking - if I buy Annual Passes in advance I understand that I get a voucher, but do we have to give the details of the person who will be using it until we actually activate it? I am assuming that the person takes the voucher with their ID to the appropriate place for activation, and at this point the pass will become "their" pass. Is that correct?

Or, given that they will be rolling out the Magic Bands, and it seems like they can be pre-ordered, do I need to do something from the UK first?

I'd like to buy a PAP for my (will be 16yr old at time of travel) son as he will get the use out of it, but of course he won't be able to book rooms etc with an AP discount, so as long as I have an unallocated pass I can do that, right?

Thanks

You will only get a voucher is you pay for shipping however if you order online you get a certificate to print out. You have to name the person collecting the ticket.

For Ap discounted rooms you have to present a valid active AP at check in.

There is nothing set regarding magic bands and APs yet.

Online sounds good, less chance of losing it then - I can just print it out beforehand!

An AP can always be replaced at Guest Services if you lose it or forget to take it with you. So far we haven't done either but nice to know all the same. :thumbsup2

One tip is to photograph (or atleast write down) the details from the back of your AP and then if you do lose it guest services can easily locate and reissue it for you,

I lost my purse once and got it reissued with no problems :)
