Annual Passes....

LOL I got a 20% AP discount at the stall outside the gates of DHS...mad thing is...I don't have a AP! :rotfl:

I didn't notice at the time, just thought it seemed a bit cheap. It was only when I came accross the receipt in my bag the next day I saw that they had taken 20% AP discount off :confused3

I'm not sure why, the only reason I can think of is the CM felt sorry for us as we were re-purchasing a hat for DD that we'd bought earlier in the holiday but then went and left at a restaurant in Titusville.

Luv Suzy

The Banking Scot posted a link (post #14)to Mousesavers, there is an offer on until end of Jan to use in most shops, then it will revert back to the list I posted(unless they extend the offer)
Sorry I ddn't know about this offer.:goodvibes

Oh I missed that post somehow. Glad I was there when the offer was on twice!

I think it should always be on, We buy Universal, Ioa, SW & Busch AP every year because of the discounts, Disney we have only had for 2 years (2007 &2008) because the savings have not been enough in other years.

Me to seems odd not to be all the shops.

Yes the offer was on last January and it was 20% off in all shops for both types of AP. This month it was 10% off in all shops for AP and 20% off for PAP. Just need a photo ID every time you use it so I carried my drivers licence with me. I suspect this offer will remain until Disney thinks the recovery is getting better and they get people to spend money at normal rates. I upgraded to the PAP just for this trip and the extra shopping discounts more than covered the cost of the upgrade (and I went to the water parks a couple of times!)

Hi there, just thought I would let you know our AP experience. We just got back yesterday from our 2-week hols and seeing as we have already booked to go for 2 weeks in September next year decided to price up the upgrade difference from our 14-day Disney tickets.

We upgraded to the Premium Annual Pass and the difference for 2 adults and 2 children was around £900 (exchange rate depending!). We go to the water parks 3-4 times on the holiday so decided to go for that one. It cost us around £850 for our tickets this year so with the free parking for the 2 holidays (around £200 for both holidays) and the 20% discount we had (and extensively used this year!) it more than made its money for us!! It was lovely getting the 20% off in so many places.....made me feel happier about spending all that money :rotfl:

Where did you upgrade as some people seem to have trouble upgrading the UK tickets?

You need to just keep trying, some CM don't know how to do it but it is possible if you can find a CM who knows how to do it. Guest services in Hollywood Studios seems to be where most are successful.

Thanks :thumbsup2 For some reason in the dizzy joys of booking I bought 3 21 day passes and think the AP might be better for 1 of us to get the free parking and discounts. Might see if I can upgrade.
