I was wondering about how much of a hotel discount you get with the annual passes? We are not sure if we want to get them, we live in washington and are not sure if we will be going back again. Our first trip is in mid-October and was thinking about upgrading our 5 days to annual passes. Im just not sure.

Generally the discounts on hotels are only about 10% but every now and then, they will offer some great rates. I've stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for $99, Paradise Pier for $79, and Grand Californian for $129. This is always off season and only offered if the hotels don't expect to be full. These rates are usually announced only 1-2 months before they are available.

But also keep in mind, you get food discounts too, 10% for a deluxe or 15% for permium passes.

Im planning a disneyland trip that MIGHT happen, on Dec. 16-17.
Im planning on buying Premium annual passes, 2 of them. they run about 359$ each right? any good deals on them anywhere or is it a set price wherever you go?

anywho, main question i wanted to ask is, if i get the deluxe pass, how soon would i have to reserve my rooms for the disneyland hotel before they sell out? since it will be right after x-mas....and what kind of discount can i get? estimations?

Arriving on 12/16/06 for 2 nights;
2 Adults
$483.00
I got this from Disneyland.com For 2 nights at the disneyland hotel. Will it go up in price if i wait? or should i book it as soon as im sure i can get the days off to go. Also, when is check out time in the morning?

thanks for all the help !

LAST QUESTION I SWEAR ! the reason im going in Dec. compared to now, and on the 16th no less, is because thats when ALL the rides will be open, not refurbished, one being my favorite, the matterhorn, it opens again on the 16th i think, is there a chance it will open earlier than expected? or even a delay? so when we go its still undergoing construction? thanks again!

Bump ! help plz ;-;

Also, im going to the disney store soon to buy those deluxe passes, are they activated the moment i buy them? or do i have to wait in a special line at the gates of disneyland , to activate them, then wait in line again to get inside the park? i want to be able to get inside the park early enough so we can hear walts opening speech and enjoy our full disney day.
Plus, when does the first day start for our 365 day deluxe pass? when i buy it from the disney store, or when i go to disneyland and use them for the first time.

Your first day starts when you activate the pass at the park, not when you buy it at the Disney Store. Just show your vouchers that you bought at the Disney Store at the turnstiles, and they'll direct you to the Bank on Main Street to take your picture and input all your information. You don't have to go to the bank right away to activate the passes, but the longer you wait to do it, the longer the line at the bank grows. However, if you plan on park hopping, you might have to process your pass at the Bank first. I'm not sure about that, but I'm sure someone else here knows the answer.

If i bought the premium passes soon at the disney store, can i use them NOW to book a hotel reservation at the disneyland hotel and get the passport discount? or is it impossible for me? since when i go on my trip, they have to be activated at the park, and i want to reserve ahead of time.

Yes you can reserve your room. They don't validate that you have a pass until you check in. And you can always call or check online to see if there are any better rates. They'll switch your resies if there is a deal available.
