We can book our wedding on Oct 24th. Can we pay our deposit that day and get our annual passes soon after that? We are planning a trip in December and would like to book a room with the annual pass rate. I am not sure if we will get our annual pass number soon enough to do that. (We already have a package booked using the free dining but I think an annual pass hotel room would be the better deal.) Just figured out the best way to save money now and thus have more for the wedding. thanks

Sounding like getting a annual pass rate for Dec won't work. Does anyone book rooms for their wedding stay using the annual pass rate? I thought they sometimes had good deals. We will have to book something we can afford at full price but I am hoping to change to a better resort when the deals come out. Is this what others do?

You get your annual passes after your signed contract is returned to you so it does take a few months after booking to get them.

The person we are dealing with right now said that we would have them by Dec. Maybe he doesn't deal with this question very often. I guess I will forget about having them for Dec. It was fun thinking about the money I would save and put towards the wedding.

Does it take them quite awhile to write up the contract? We are having an Escape wedding.

I'm having an escape as well. They send you a copy to sign which you then send back and then they send another copy back to you with the passes in. Ours had to come back and forth to the UK so that might have made it slower. I think free dining it the better offer but not sure.

I suppose it will depend on what the annual rates are, compared to the wedding rates...
