I read alot on here about how AP are worth the money..
How much are they? Are there maximum visits? Are there really discount hotels?
How do I go about getting those? I'm wondering if I should look into that. Is it Jan to Jan..or time of purchase and 365 days?

Annual Passes are worth it if you will be going over 8 times in 1 year. Passes are good for 1 year after the date you start using it.

Mousesaver.com is a very good site to read all about them.

You can get AP discounts for resorts. Again, mousesavers.com will tell you all about that.

The break even point is over 8 days per year, not visits, unless you are only planning to go a day at a time. Hotel discounts range from 25 - 45% off the rack rate at most WDW hotels, but are limited in number of rooms available and time of year (for example, you won't find many discounts over the Thanksgiving holidays, Spring Break, between Xmas and New Years, etc.). There are dining discounts during the week for lunch at various sit down restaurants on property. There are some discounts at different DTD shops, 10% off certain merchandise.

I live in So Cal and have had a WDW and DLR Ap for 3 years now. I am renewing my WDW AP at the end of Oct, but I'm not sure about the DLR AP. I may let that one lapse because the park just isn't NICE to AP holders anymore. Most of the time we are treated like the scum of the earth, so I've been avoiding DLR lately........this from someone who had over 250 visits in one year !!!

Point of clarification:

AP's are purchased in one of two ways - either prior to your arrival in FL at WDW (by phone, mail, online or at TDS) or while at the WDW Resort or surrounding area.

When you purchase prior to arriving, you get a voucher mailed to you. That voucher needs to be exchanged at any Guest Relations location for the actual AP. Your one year starts the moment you do the exhcnage. Your AP will run for 366 days and be good through and including the same date the following year.

When you purchase your AP in FL or at the WDW Resort, you will get an activated pass that begins the moment you pay for it. No exchanging is required. It too runs for 366 days.

The first actual use of the AP for park admission has no bearing on how long the pass runs for.

Please, i tried to buy AP tickets on line and didn t find the option, i found AP only to WP and PI not to other park.

can you help me ?

Disney doesn't offer the option of AP's or PAP's online to international visitors. But that is not a problem. You can purchase one upon arriving at WDW. The cost is the same as there is no advance purchase price on AP/PAP's. The cost will be $403.64 US.
