Annual Passes or Bounce Back Offer

We have a trip planned for 4/28-5/4. We are currently booked at Pop Century and have 7 Day Base tickets. We are planning on going back at least one more time in 2018. Would I be better off changing my current tickets to Annual Passes or hope for a Bounce Back offer during our visit?

You can use your base ticket to upgrade to an AP. If you are planning on another 7 day pass, it's probably worth it plus you get the other perks of an AP. You can book the bounce back and if an AP gives a better rate, try switching or cancel and rebook.

You can do both!! The bounceback offer you will get in April should be a room discount on dates in 2018, if Disney follows the pattern they have had for years now. The free dining bounceback has only been offered mid August to mid October. And the free dining offer is the only one that requires you to buy tickets with the offer. So in April, you can upgrade your tickets to annual passes & book a bounceback room discount for another trip in 2018. You will then have tickets for that second trip by upgrading to the AP on the first trip.

Keep watching the discounts forum because the room discount bounce back should start sometime in the next couple of weeks. Someone will post the dates & resorts when it starts. And that should be the same offer as you will see in April.

The current bounce back offer (free dining) brochure says offer ends 10/31. So it looks like the room discount won't start until Nov.

Actually, the room discount offer started in mid October for the last year or 2. Both free dining & room discounts overlapped for a few weeks. These are screen shots that showed the room discount for 2017 started & folks booked them in mid October. So we should see the next offer pop up pretty soon.
