I was wondering if anyone knows if you can upgrade the Disney UK 14 day tickets to annual passes and same thing for Universal?

We are heading to OKW in August and wondered if it would be worthwhile trying to do this if we intend going maybe offsite within the next year.

Also are there blackout dates that apply.

Thanks for any info:)

If you want to upgrade your Disney tickets the guest services window outside the MK has consistently given the best assistance.

I would avoid DHS as they told me you couldn't then I could but only offered a silly low amount - she asked her supervisor who seemed none the wiser either!

If you are going back within a year it is the most economical way to get tickets :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice, I thought I had seen something before about the Magic Kingdom guest services being helpful. We are at Magic Kingdom on our last full day but after that we are having dinner at California Grill and breakfast on our leaving day at 1900 Park Faire so if upgrading affects the dining credits that would be bad!

May try guest services last morning before the airport although we have a fairly early flight. Do guest services open at the same time as the park?

We upgraded ours last november but we did ours the day after we arrived. I was worried abt the DDP aspect but my mom did not have an annual pass so we intended to use her card for the plan but to be honest tried our cards and the credits were on there. Just remember that the AP will give you 10% off in most shops and some resturants and the premium AP gives 20%. this is one reason why we upgraded at the beginning as we saved quite a lot with these discounts rather than upgrading at the end. Even if one of you upgrades you can still take advantage.we upgraded at dtd but as elise says MK has the best reputation espec with UK tickets
Also if you use the water parks on the 14 days pass you can only upgrade to the premium pass which is obviously more but has the above benefit of the 20% off.
Hope this helps:thumbsup2
