Do you "feel like since you have free annual passes from your wedding you should fit in an extra trip? I am thinking we should and not go for the year after our passes expire. Pus we have enough points on my Disney Visa to cover our hotel room and a bit for food. The Food & Wine Festival just looks to good to pass up:confused3

Our wedding is June, 2011, so we don't have our passes yet. However, DF already suggested that we spend our first married Christmas at Disney so that we get some mileage out of those passes. I'm so excited. I say do it!

Yup. We were married in October of 2009 and got AP's.
We went back in March for a short trip and we are going again in September. :)
It's been too darn tempting not to. (For us anyway.)

I definitely plan on getting good use out of our AP's! We are going to use them in September for our Disneymoon, I am going back to visit my grandparents in March or April, and then DH and I will go once more at the end of August/beginning of September for our Anniversary. I am really just using them as an excuse to keep going to Disney :rotfl:

I got married in Disney in June and going back in December to see the park lit up with xmas lights..I've been to Disney 10+ times but never at Xmas time :):cheer2:

Disney at Christmas time is amazing - there is nothing like it. You are going to have such a great time :goodvibes

You can use them for your PS right? That's what we plan on doing.

you may or may not have them in hand to depend on using them for that trip? ours were mailed and we have still not recieved them!! not sure if they could hook you up on property if you asked...

everyone remember that, according to the unofficial guide (and depending on what type of lodging you normally do), 10 days of park time per year is considered the break even point for getting an AP. plus of course there are all kinds of bonuses (tables in wonderland!!) too!. we will cash ours in at the wedding trip because we do normally go ~3 times a year. of course these are a "treat" and why not just use them and let them guide you to WDW! BUT if you normally might go every year, or you may go for a really long visit later in the year and the wedding visit isn't super long (we will be there for 6 days total, but itsgoing to b hectic wedding time, not run around in the parks time for us) you *may* be better served to use those with another trip, to get maximum value!!!;)

We were there for 7 days for our wedding, and are going back in September for another 7 days. The AP room rate in September allowed us to purchace the dining plan and still save money over just a room package in October (which was when were originally planning to go back)

Also I am very close to convincing DH to go back in December to see the Christmas decorations, I was there with my sister 6 years ago and would LOVE to go back. Right now I would say we have a 60% chance of going back in December. :rotfl:

I picked my vouchers up at Franck's. When I sent in my contract/LOA, I asked if we could just pick them up as our vacation was a week away.

Yes, as long as they are still giving them out in 2012 *i hope so*
we are planning a 10 day trip with the wedding in April/May and then in early December as I've always wanted to see WDW at christmas time

Yep we used them for our 22 night wedding trip and coming up our 14 night holiday.

Glad to know I am not alone. We have gone to Florida 3x in the past year so I don't want to discuss it with my "real life" friends as they will roll their eyes. One thing I did like when we there for 12 nights in June is that I didn't feel pressure to go to the parks like I do when we just have a week pass. Usually I feel like we are wasting money and have to go even when we are really tired.

I agree with the above posters that Christmas is the best. We may try the Food and Wine as we have never been. Plus there is MNSSHP going on also.

Yes. We started ours at our PS and then got 3 uses out of them (PS, Wedding and we just took a trip in June right before they expired). If you can afford to go again after your wedding and before they expire, then yes I would definitely go. Trust me my "real life" friends also make the comments," you are going again?" I just laugh and say hell yeah, I have free passes for the year and we can afford to go so why not. I am the type of person who does not care what people think though. GO, enjoy and have a blast! Christmas time is wonderful. We usually go then and got married around that time.
