Annual Passes...can someone help me please

I am considering annual passes for our upcoming trip in October, only because we are 95% sure we are going at Christmas and pretty darn sure we will go again before October 2006.

Can someone explain to me how they work, what you get so to speak. Also where do I buy them, I couldn't find it on the disney website.

Also are there different passes, we would like the option that would include disney quest....etc

I would recommend you gettting the AP if you plan on visiting that many times in year. Look at the prices of tickets for your 3 trips and add it up I bet the price will be higher than an AP. You get all sorts of beneifits with the pass. Take a look at this site:

You are looking at the Premium Annual Pass (PAP) which is $548.49 (with tax). You can only order the PAP from Disney (by phone, at Parks, on-line, MCO airport, I know there is somewhere else as well). If you order your pass before you go you will be sent a voucher that you will activate (at any of the parks or DTD (guest relations)). Activating the voucher takes about 5 minutes if you choose to buy before you get to WDW. The passes give you 366 days of admission to WDW starting on the day you activate them.

You can also purchase an Premium Annual Pass at Guest Relations at any of the theme parks or at Downtown Disney.

The difference between purchasing the pass ahead of time is the Voucher. With the voucher, your pass is not activated until you arrive and use it the first time. When you purchase it at the airport or at a theme park (or DTD), the pass starts run on that day. I hope that makes sense.

That's the renewal price (actually $495.25). A new PAP will cost $548.49
