On the Annual passes....I order one Annual pass through the mail...when I recieved it, it did not say voucher, it reads Exchange Certifacate. Is this the same thing? I notice everyone uses the word voucher...and that very much scare me....
This is a new pass, I bought it for my son in june/00 for our next trip....which won't be until 2003...this is ok....
Any info on this will be great....
Is it worth buying the DC card now...to buy the rest of the tickets and save them for our 2003. Does the DC seem the same as the MKC?
I will be ordering New passes not renewing any....
Thanks for any info....Angie's Magical Place

I got the "renewal certificate" when I ordered two new passes in December--they had a special deal for current AP holders to get new passes for the same price and renewals, and if the wrong code was entered, the wrong letter was sent out. I was assured that the two I got the passes for wouldn't have any trouble getting into the parks.

As for getting hoppers now--check here (top of page under "discount Park passes") for prices--they are about the same as the MKC/DC discount. Hoppers never expire, and if you find you need more days when the trip comes, you can upgrade by only paying the difference of the new pass. So if you can afford it now, it wouldn't be a bad idea. You'd have your passes, and there is sure to be an increase or two before your trip, so you'd be saving money.

DC is the revamped MKC and does basically the same thing--discounts on all resorts during Value Season, (20% on Deluxes, 10% on Moderate and Value) and a 10% disount on Deluxes during Regular and Peak season. 10% discounts on TDS and catalog and on Downtown Disney Stores, the Disney Magazine and it is now an Entertainment card, which gets you 50% on select hotels in the county (comes with a book listing them all by state)

hope this helps!
