Hello everyone. More of a lurker on this site. My DW and I are planning a trip for us and our two DD's for our oldest DD's BDay in May. Our first day will be on her bday so we'll be using the promo for that day. My question is we're looking at the So Cal. pass the one that's just below the deluxe pass due to money situation. Is this a good pass? We were thinking of doing another trip towards the end of the year as well and figured it would be best to get a pass.

I think you need to look at the days that are blocked out and see if these are the on the days you plan to visit. If you plan to visit both parks on the same day and can go at least twice with the pass then "yes" it is worth the money. A park hopper for 1 day at the gate is $94

Thanks disneymom. We've looked at the blocked out dates and got lucky as the day before her bday is blocked, but the two days we plan to go are'nt. Might also talk to the DW and see if she might want to do the deluxe since we could probably do the monthly payment plan.

So far it has'nt been to bad. Other than my wife being laid off the middle of last year, but we're getting by. Our youngest will also be turning one on the 10th of May.

We are getting two year's vacations out of our one year AP! We upgraded our three day passes last year to APs. We went in July. This year we will be using the same APs to go for a week in June. So, for us, we are saving money because we get two summer vacations out of it. We also took a quick one day trip to DLR during the holiday season. (Actually, I got two days, but the rest of my family went one. :) )
