Annual Pass?

Hi

We are going back to WDW in October. I am thinking of buying ap's, but is it really worth it.

It works out roughly £249.00 for annual pass, but it doesnt include water parks. The premium ticket I thought was quite expensive. Can you only purchase the annual pass ticket through Disney? Can we wait till we arrive and buy the ap there or is the price based on in advance.

The reason I am thinking of buying a ap is we may go back the following year and we would save so much money if we bought the ap. Last year we bought the 14 day ultimate ticket.

What other discounts do you get? Dining? We are staying in a villa so we cant get any dining packages.

With the AP you can get discounts on the Water parks ( I think )

Also you can get DDE 20% discount on lots of dining places (only Fl.res. & AP )can get this.
So that more savings.

Yes you can only get the ticket through Disney directly. If you want to get the Disney Dining Experience card (DDE) for 20% off at the main restaurants then this needs to be purchased in advance and so you would need your AP voucher number to be able to do this. To be honest we found the PAP to be good value when used over our two visits. The price is the same regardless of where you buy it ie over here via the phone or once there, the only thing to consider is how the exchange rate may go!

I think you can buy a voucher for the AP at disney.com. If you want to use it to get the discount of room only accomdation, which is sometimes availabe, but not always, then you need the voucher to be posted out to you as you will need the voucher number to access the passholder website.

In addtion to some room only discounts, and the DDE card Claire told you about you can also get 10% off some lunches and World of Disney at DTD.
