annual pass vs premium annual pass

what are the differences between the two? I hopefully will get a bonus at work this year and was thinking of treating myself to an annual pass, but man are they pricey compared to years ago...crazy. But, hey, you live once.

Are there block-out dates? And, does the premium include extras or how does it work now?

Unless you live in FL there are only 2 types you can buy, with Water Parks option and one without. No black out dates of any sort.

Or a DVC member. DVC members are allowed to buy the Gold pass.

Platinum Plus includes, as well as theme park admission, water parks, admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports and golf. No blackout dates on either the Platinum or Platinum Plus pass.
