annual pass vs 10 day no expiration

You can find the full list of TIW benefits here:

I think that TIW is arguable Disney's real best kept secret. I love mine.

Thanks......yes good secret I was not aware of it or if I was didn't really pay attention. We don't eat out much (that is why we bought DVC!) especially with our young kids...it is expensive and a more of a hassle than anything. But wife and I are going for an adult only trip at BWV (I just love BWV, got to add on there soon)........so plan on eating and drinking in EPCOT, this could be a good deal for us. I don't mind the 18% gratuity as we usally give about 20% anyway.

I actually bought 10 Day no expire passes right before the price increase. Now that we are DVC members and plan on going in January and again in October I am going to save the 10 day pass for another year. I feel like with the annual pass I wouldn't feel bad about going to the park for just a little time during the day. Or the day I had planned on pooling it all day, maybe runout at night for a little park action :) Like one of the previous posts said, you need to go 8 days to make it worth while. I will definately do that this year!

We had an AP for the first time starting with our trip in July 2007. We used it in December, March and June of 2008. It was fantastic! We stayed at OKW in the summer trips, offsite in December and BWV in March. When we were waiting to check in to the BWV, my family went to the pool and I walked to EPCOT for a coffee and to watch the dancing fountain. On a MK day, we drove our van and got such a great parking spot, that we took the monorail to EPCOT, walked through to get a pastry in France and took the ferry to BWV. Went back to MK to use FPs and watch Wishes and took our van back to BWV.

I loved the AP just for the beauty of not having to worry about the days I was using my ticket - the more, the better! Plus, even though we are not typically a "hopping" family, we were able to go to HS one morning, gather FPs, stroll to EPCoT to see the new Spaceship Earth and go back to BWV before going back to MGM. Of course, that's also the "beauty" of staying at the BWV in a month with weather that is perfect for walking!

I don't know if we'll ever have a year like that again, but I'm certainly going to try! :goodvibes
