Annual Pass Voucher and FP+ Question

We purchased Annual Passes the other month for a trip starting August 2 (we're going back next summer as well, thus the AP made sense). We got the online confirmation and will be picking the passes up at Will Call when we arrive.

My question is this: Since I have linked our annual passes with my MDE account (after about 2 1/2 hours on the phone with tech support over three days), will making FP+ reservations 30 days ahead of our trip "activate" the annual passes as of the date the reservations are made ? Or will they not be activated until we get to the parks and pick them up at Will Call ?

I assume the clock won't be ticking on them until we actually arrive in the parks and use them for admission, but I just wanted to be sure.

They will not be activated until you go to will call. They will activate them at that time and will expire one year from date of activation.
