Annual Pass Upgrades

We are so excited! We're headed to the parks next week. We've purchased 4 five day park hoppers. Is it possible to upgrade 3 of the four to Deluxe Annual Passes and 1 to the Premium Pass? I was thinking I could get the higher discount and the free parking with one of us having the premium pass. If we head back to the park on a blocked day by chance, could the deluxe pass holders then upgrade their passes to the premium annual pass? If we do decide to upgrade, can we pay the difference in monthly payments? We live in CA? Do we still need to put a minimum amount down?

You should have no problems upgrading your hoppers to DAPs and a PAP. Since you'll have 5 day hoppers, make sure to use your MM and any other perks before upgrading. If you wait to upgrade on a blockout date, the DAPs will still be able to enter the parks, saving you the upgrade or blockout ticket for that date. Check the AP blockout calendar (http://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/blockout-dates/) to see what dates, if any, are blocked for DAPs during your visit. I don't think there are any, so you should be fine.

No. Your hopper will be your down payment. Be aware your first payment will come out within 5 days.

Yup, we do this a lot. get hoppers, use the MM then upgrade, we normally do 3 Deluxe and 1 Premium as well. The free parking and higher discount is a great incentive.

We are paying monthly for our passes and did not buy the parking option. We were told if we added it later we would not be able to have it monthly as well. Maybe the same applies for pass upgrades? It would seem so, but call to be sure.
My first day was a Saturday and my first monthly payment occurred the following Tuesday FYI.

You'd have to pay the parking in full but the rest of the monthly option should still be the same.

Our annual passes we have 1 premium and 5 Deluxe. This way we get free parking and the better discount on dining and food.
