Once they turn three they need an admission ticket. If you’re a casual AP holder (like my family) then you may need to consider the cost of the AP and how many more days you will be visiting. It could be cheaper to buy tickets. We purposely planned our next trip to make sure it doesn’t overlap with anyone turning three within that 12-month period. We’re going about 3-months before baby turns two, so our passes will expire about 3-months before she turns three. If you’re a local or a yearly AP holder then it probably makes the most sense to just buy the AP, especially if you’re going to continuously renew your passes. A one day ticket is around $100 (more if you park hop), a DAP is around $600, so 6 one day trips would make buying the AP a better deal. But two three day trips would be slightly cheaper to just buy admission tickets. Just consider all your options and how many more visits are in your AP.
