Annual Pass/RoomRates/Discounts

So I know there has been alot of discussion of this, but bear with me...

If we aren't going to activate our AP's until the week of the wedding, then can we and how do we make any reservations with a discount?!?! I don't really want to stay at our roomblock, as I don't really want to be running into people for the next few days after the wedding.

Also is there a place to find out any other discounts? If we want to have a nice meal or something like that? Where can one get those meal discounts as well?

I have not done this myself but I've read on the boards that you can reserve a room using your AP vouchers to get the AP discount. Discount will depend on when you're going and if they are available.

no worries here. as long as someone posess an AP when you check in (and i am sure you can activate at guest services then walk to the check in area if needed) you will recieve the AP rate and can reserve as such now.

i've done this lots of times!

You can purchase the Tables in Wonderland card to receive discounts off your meals (for up to 9 people I believe) with your annual pass. We have always found it to be worth the cost. It also discounts any alcohol at meals.

you can use the voucher to access the AP area of the Disney World website if you have any troubles just call the help number and they can tell you which numbers you need. also www.mousesavers.com lists all current discounts including AP and FL rates. once you access the AP area of the Disney website you can see all current offers for AP holders including F&B discounts (though TiW is the best discount for F&B) and shopping discounts.

FYI I booked the Around The World at Epcot segway tour the other day, and was unable to use my AP voucher for the discount as they needed my AP number

I haven't checked but hopefully this isn't the same as the TIW cards...

Do you have any other discount you can apply for the tour? They also give AAA and Disney Visa discounts (the latter being the biggest one).

TIW cards must be purchased from Guest Services or by calling (407) 566-5858 in advance. However, the clock starts ticking from the month that you order the card, not when you first use it, so you'll probably want to wait to buy it til you actually get to WDW.
