Annual Pass Room Rate Question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't get the search function to work right now.

We have annual passes and are planning a trip for the middle/end of June. What exactly do we have to do in order to get the best rate and when do we have to do it to get the best rate. I know that there is something that we have to do online, but I'm not sure how to go about the whole thing.

Will we be told the rate when we "register" online? Is it better to wait until you're closer to your arrival date...in other words, does the rate change if the rooms aren't going?

If only it could be as easy as it was in the past...

Once again, thanks in advance for the help.

RyMickey, the BRP programme ends April 14th 2006. No one knows when/if they will extend this programme.

Most rumours talks about January 2006 with release of a date that extends the April date.

Thanks, Denmark. I actually knew that much from just some preliminary research, but I was just wondering the process of going about doing this. However, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for rates in January '06.

That being said, I'm not a frequenter to the Resorts board and didn't even realize that there was a codes and rates section. I guess I'll look through here...but I'll still take any advice about the program that anyone has.

I'd say go ahead and make your resort reservations so you know you've got what you want during the very busy summer season. I've already made ours (arriving June 22; depart July 2)and will revise the reservation IF any AP rates come out. Since vacancy rates are way up, I'm not counting on much savings for the room. Getting the DDE will save us nicely and my Disney VISA has 20% off the specialty tours we are planning this year. AP will also save on PHP and shopping at DTD. All in all, we try to save where we can and totally enjoy the experience :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I think you mean occupancy rates are up. Vacancy rates being up would mean there are more empty rooms.
