Annual Pass Renewal

My annual pass expires June 22. If I renew it now does the clock start running or can I wait until my next visit to activate it and have the clock start running then?

Renewals begin the day the AP you are renewing is no longer valid. If you want to delay the start of an AP you would have to purchase a "new" AP which is not currently available.

If your pass expires on 6/22/2021, the renewed pass would expire on 6/22/2022.

Maybe I should know this already, but how do you go about renewing a current AP that is about to expire? Mine expires on July 21st. Will I receive an email about it or do I have to call customer service?

1. That can happen (and often does,) but sometimes it doesn't.
2. That would be a sure way to do it.

I Received an email two weeks before my expiration date.

If it's a non-discounted AP or a FL resident AP, you can renew online using the MDE website. If it's a DVC AP, you have to call DVC Member Services.

My DVC annual pass was expiring in May and I did not receive any email or reminder. Fortunately I remembered and called in, so don't count on a reminder.

Thanks for the info. It is a DVC Gold Pass AP, so I guess I'll mark it down to call Member Services.
