Annual pass renewal

My annual passes expire in April 2015. I heard something about a renewal discount for dvc members? A friend who is a member told me about a month b4 they expire dvc will send me a promotion to renew? Anyone know anything about this?

The renewal window starts 60 days prior and ends 30 days after the expiration date of your current pass. Renewals will extend the expiration date of your pass by 1 year.

I called Member Services to renew my AP 60 days before the expiration date.
