Has anyone renewed their annual pass using the new Southern California monthly payment option? I am curious how this works. I saw a form that you fill out on their website and it seems like you set up an automatic withdrawl online. Do they just mail you your renewed pass? Do you have to go to the annual pass building and get your picture taken again and show id?

I just did this last week (I took oldest dd to DL for her birthday). I didn't do it online, but at Guest Relations. It was really easy. They do have a contract that you sign agreeing to pay the monthly fee which is automatically charged to your credit card.

I wish they retook your picture (they never do when you renew) because mine is horrible (I weighed probably 50 lbs. more than I do now and my dd was probably 12 when hers was done and now she's 16!!!).

I don't know much about the monthly payment plan, but I wanted to let DisDreamz know that you can go to the AP processing center (the old Bank) and have new pictures taken. If you've both changed significantly in appearance, I would take the time to do this. It would be awful to have them question you about your AP when you enter the park, if your picture is so out-of-date.

Thanks for the info. Did thet just print you a new card then? Did they ask to see a photo ID? I ask because we currantly live in central CA but we wanted to use a family members address to be able to pay in monthly instalments next year. We could show mail with our names on it at that address but not our IDs.

They probably will want to see ID at some point. I know that some people don't have current ID (like when you first move some place), and they want to see utility-type bills...official bills that prove that you live there and the rate applies to you...I'm not sure that personal letters would work.
