Our AP renews on 7/20/17. This is our first renewal and my question is do you receive a new AP when renewing or still use the pass you have?

That's one of the things I like about Universal APs...you can keep the same pass for years. Disney made you get a new one every year...not a big deal but I've got the same Universal AP I've had since 2005.

Metro, I talked to Universal over the weekend and because we are upgrading to the 3 park AP we will be getting a new AP.

I was afraid of that...I don't want to give up my relic of an AP so I guess I'll just do day trips to VB whenever things calm down.
