Annual Pass Renewal for DVC Members

Anyone know what the annual pass renewal price is currently, with DVC discount. We will have to renew soon and we are wondering what the going rate is now. We just got a letter in the mail from WDW stating that there is a $47.00 discount on renewal for an annual pass, which makes it $377.01 total. Just wondering how much less it will be with DVC discount because this letter is not from DVC.

$354 per the member website. All the info is there for the various types of passes available and their pricing.

$377.01 is the renewal rate for DVC members and already includes sales tax.

Prices incl tax:

New AP = $531.44
Renewal AP = $488.84

New DVC AP = $424.94
Renewal DVC AP = $377.01

The letter comes from WDW, they assume that you will renew the same pass type (DVC). You will have to show your member card when you pickup the pass and they key in the member # to verify you are still a member.

Are the APs for 12 months? I know I read that they were 15 months at one point.

Did I read the wrong column with my $354 number? Sorry about that! (Edited - oh I see now, the price from the table doesn't include the tax.)

To the PP - the 15 month offer was a special offer that ended last August.

Another question (not to hijack the thread) The AP is basically an unlimited park hopper? The PAP is that + Water Parks, etc. ? What's the DVC price & renewal for that? Also, isn't there one for DL & WDW? Again w/ the $$?

DVC Premium AP (adult): $536.76, renewal: $494.16

Yes, there is a WDW/DL AP. There is no DVC discount on that one, and I believe it is $700 plus tax.

Can we renew over the phone? If so do we call member services? The passholder website won't let me renew online. The website keeps telling me that the event is sold out. lol. My pass expires in March but we aren't going back until June.

Yes you can renew by phone. You can call either MS or the Passholder hotline (407-560-PASS). You will still need to go to a theme park ticket window or guest relations location once you arrive at WDW to get your actual AP.

If you renew I believe your new pass starts the day after your old one expires. you will only have 10 months on your new pass when you pick it up in June. Sometimes it's better to just get a new one that's what we do.

You can renew up to 60 days before and 30 days after the expiration date.

It would expire April 30, 2012. For renewals, the expiration date is based on the expiring passes expiration date regardless of when you purchase the renewal.
