And all of that together means that many times a guest MIGHT be better off NOT "renewing" an AP,
IF that AP will not actually be needed or used
30-50 days following the old AP's anniversary date.
If its not, many (most) times a guest would be better off just waiting until their next WDW trip, and THEN buying a new AP at full price...
thereby getting a FULL YEAR of potential use out of that new AP after its first use at a park.

Nope! Have a bonus coming 2 weeks after my expiration, and I was hoping to use that to renew.

Many people fall into the trap of renewing when it would be better to just go ahead an buy a new one that would be good for a full year from the new date.
