Annual pass redemption

I've purchased my FLA resident annual pass certificates from AAA and need to redeem them for the actual pass. Where is the best place to do this ahead of time?

Can it be done in Ocala at the Welcome Center on I75?

Not sure, but we always use guest relations at DTD. They have late hours and are seldom busy like the park locations.

The Ocala Welcome Center has been closed for a couple of years now. The only place to exchange the vouchers for the passes is at any Guest Relations window at the four theme parks (there are two at Epcot - the one at the main entrance and the one at the International Gateway), and at Downtown Disney.

What park are you heading to? I did mine at AK right before Spring Break and no one was in line. It was a very fast transaction.

I always buy my annual pass at the local AAA here in Tallahassee, and redeem it for the actual pass upon entering the first park I visit. This has never been a problem, and the pass isn't activated until it is actually used to enter the park.

I'm not sure why one would want to redeem it before hand.

Because I'm going with a large group and my family is the only ones using annual passes. I wanted to get them taken care of the day before we all meet up at the parks. Also, I didn't realize it could be done at the gate and thought it was a special place they had to be exchanged.

When staying off site, I always activate my ap at dtd in order to save having to pay for parking. They generally won't let you use your voucher to park free.

This is where we went too. Wasn't a single person in there except 2 CM's. We got Fl. PAP's and wanted to go to Disney Quest that night, so we needed them.

Great and quick service, but we did go at night, so that may be why not so busy. Plus, the next day I didn't want to mess with the ticket exchange.

Trip before, we did DO the exchange at MK. It really was quick. They only had a couple of booths operating, but I think each booth only had one party in line.

They can vary slightly seasonally but usually they are:

Marketplace Guest Relations Located next to Team Mickey
Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Sunday - Thursday
8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Friday - Saturday


West Side Guest Relations Adjacent to Pleasure Island, near AMC Theaters
Hours: 9:30am to 11:45pm
