If I purchase a ticket now from Undercover Tourist and then later decide I need an Annual Pass, can I upgrade it when I am at WDW in February?

I don't know how many trips I get to make next year, but it if it more than one, then I will need the AP. It expires one year from first use, right?

I am eligible to start making FP reservations on December 6... Will I be able to do those from home with an Undercover Tourist ticket? What if I purchase an AP?

Yes, you can upgrade UT tickets at the parks. I upgraded the tickets I bought from UT to APs back in October without any issues.

It will expire one year for the first day you used the ticket to enter a park.

As long as you linked the UT tickets to your MDE account, you'll be able to make FP+ reservations for the number of days you have tickets for (e.g., if you bought a 6-day ticket from UT, you can make 6 days of FP+ reservations). I believe AP holders can make FP+ reservations for seven days or for the length of your onsite stay (whichever is long) according to the FP+ SuperThread.

Thank you, Jill!

If you buy a ticket from a third party at a discounted rate, if you upgrade it after you use it at least once you usually get credit for the full price of the original ticket even though you actually paid less than that.

Thanks! Now I wish it would arrive! I ordered it a bit too late and my FP window opened today. They can't send me the number until Monday. :(.

Hope I'm not left with 0 chances to get on my choice of attractions. I had 1 non expiring day left on an old pass and it allowed me to make my first day FPs with it. However, I don't want to use that for this trip.

I'll have to call WDW and talk to them when I get my ticket. Sigh...hope they can switch my FPs made today to the ticket I'm getting Monday. What a game! Don't like the new FP system.
Tried it out when we were there at this time last year....many unhappy people.
