the best annual pass discount is the ROOM RATE DISCOUNT, i would check the disney web site for the dates you are going to compare the savings and staying on property instead of off, you get a parking pass for your car for free parking for your length of stay to all the parks or you can utilize their bus transportation. we have used the bus transportation before and we never waited long for a bus.you also get a % off food at certain restaraunts through out disney i think only during lunch.
disney also has a meal plan you can add to your room for $38 a day per adult, i dont know how much for children. but for $38 a day you get a snack, a counter service meal, a dessert, and any non -alcoholic drink, and a table service meal you get an appertizer, entree, dessert, and any non-alcoholic drink. we are going in april and are going to purchase this meal plan, you can only purchase this if you are staying on property. we made reservations at the coral reef and look on line at he menu my appertizer entree and dessert is going to total over $50 alone. definately worth the money!!!!!
so i would definately consider changing to staying on property you can stay at the value resorts with you ap from $59 - $79 a night and you are right on disney property.
Plus disney offers extra magic hours to people staying on property, so on selected days you can go into a park one hour early or stay three hours after closing. this can make going to the parks much more enjoyable!!
