Hi, Im hoping someone can answer these.

I am going in August and whilst attempting to figure out the cheapest way of getting tickets, a fellow poster Ghost put me on the idea of an Annual pass.

So.. this may be a little too complicated, but its worth a try.

Our party consists of myself, DW, DD 6, DS 2 & DS 2.

My plan is this..

Get sponsored and get an Annual Pass for either me or my wife. Hopefully save the 10% on that and also help a fellow board member extend their AP.

Then, on the same day, pretty much at the same time. Use that AP to buy discounted passes for the park for the rest of my family. Now, from the DLP web site, they dont sell single day park hoppers, and as I cant read the Annual pass website, I cant see if there is any discount on multi-day passes. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to do this??

So, now we have all got tickets for our trip, we would then use the AP to get our discounted character meal and of course leave all merchandise purchases til the last day to get the benefit of the 20% discount.

Alternatively, I should forget my scrooge approach and just get AP's for the entire family? :thumbsup2

Hi, i'm sure you can buy one day tickets I know we did to get in the park to be able to buy our annual passports.

You have to be in the park to get your passports so you would have to buy tickets for the first day. (the price of the day ticket gets deducted from the annual passport price when you get one)

Not sure if you can buy tickets straight away for members of your family I think you may have to have had your pass for a month but as i said I'm not sure.

It may be as cheap to but hopper tickets for the rest of your family from 365 tickets as they have some good deals, then just buy yours on the day to exchange.

It may be worth getting passports for the whole family it depends on how many days you intend to visit the parks. (generally if you intend to buy 4 day hoppers its cheaper to get annual passports especially if you get 10% discount on them)

Hopefully someone who has bought day passes can help. We bought AP's for everyone and enjoyed the fact that we got vouchers for everyone too :goodvibes
