annual Pass question

I renewed my AP last year in May and got a voucher. When I brought my voucher to the window to get our passes in July they asked if I wanted to pay an extra 40 something dollars to extend the anniversary date to July instead of May. We declined thinking we would not get there again before July the following year. Do you think If I called up Disney and paid the 40 something they would extend my tickets to July???

It was a one time offer that they sometimes do when a renewal certificate is presented between 30 and 60 days after the renewal date. Once the voucher has been activated, you cannot at any other time pay additional money to extend the AP/PAP/SP for anything less than another whole year renewal.

All you have to do is let your AP expire, then buy a whole new one two months later. The difference between a renewal and just buying a new AP later is only $42.

The difference between renewing a Premium AP and buying a whole new one is only $53.
