so my husband and i got APs for the first time last year. Our passes expired on Dec 2nd but we still have time to renew. I kind of remember in another board saying something about thier husband renewing them online but something went wrong and it would be easier to just call and renew them. So my question is there something wrong with renewing them online or should my hubby just call to renew them?
 
I seem to recall that when I went to renew, online would only let me upgrade to the most expensive pass and I had to call to be allowed to upgrade to the sorcerer’s passes that we were renewing.

It may have been my wife that posted about the issue renewing online. Not sure. When I went to renew my incredi-pass the first time when I was finishing checkout it just went back to the homepage and didn't go through. I then added the renewal back to the cart and it went through properly however the email I got said it was "processing" whereas my wife's said it had gone through. I then get a follow-up email saying payment failed. However payment did go through. The renewal AP shows up in my MDE. I did call to make sure all looks good and they said it did.

So my renewal went through but it was more frustrating than it should have been....then again it is Disney IT.
 
Thank you everyone!! I believe when i was looking online last night it automatically put the highest tier for purchase, but it did show the one we have as an option. We'll try online first and call if we have to :)

We tried to renew our Sorcerer's pass online but it would only let me upgrade to the most expensive one, and strangely enough, it wouldn't even let me renew everyone, only half of us. So I called. Was only on hold for about 5 minutes, and another 5 minutes before we got them renewed. We were all set in 10 minutes. I wish all calls went like that!

If you are a DVC member, you have to call Member Services to renew. FL Residents can renew online to any pass level. There is only one pass level available to those that are not a FL Resident or DVC Member and that pass level (the Incredi-Pass) can be renewed online.
