Annual pass question?

Is the annual pass good from Jan 1st to Dec 31st, or could it be like from June to June? Does it have to be a specific year, or just 12 months? I was thinking about going in May 2017, Oct 2017, and then again in April 2018.

It's good for 365 (366 technically, I think) days from the date you first activate it. Doesn't have to be the first of the month, can be any date. We did ours from July to July. You get the one extra day, so if you start on October 4th 2016, you'd have all the way to and including October, 4th 2017

It's one year from when it is activated. If you buy over the website or by phone, you have to stop at a guest relations or ticket booth and activate. The year starts ticking that day. If you purchase in person, the year starts ticking that day. So if you activate today, the last day to use it is October 4, 2017.

So I could buy it now, but didn't start to use it until May 2017, it would be good 365 days from May 2017.

It's always the same day, the next year. Pass activated October 1 2017 is good through October 1 2018.

If you activate one in May 2017 it should cover all your dates...if you activate it May 1 2017, it will be good through May 1, 2018. If you activate it May 28, 2017, it is good through May 28, 2018.

OP's question doesn't apply to this but I believe the extra month offer extends it just that month...when I renew mine that expires December 8, it will be good through January 8. Not so sure about that one though.
