We are visiting the world from September 20th to October 6th and our annual passes expire on October 2nd. Has anyone ever had their annual passes extended without having to pay the renewal price? Called Disney and the answer was no, however we know sometimes it depends on getting to talk to the right person and just wondered if we had a shot at doing this. Any info would be great.

They expire at midnight or park close (if the park is open later than 12am to accomodate EMH) on the date of expiration. No extension will be granted.

If you don't want to renew, you would have to buy a 4 day pass to cover the rest of your days.

I was there last September when mine where going to expire on our very last day. Our next trip wasn't for four months so the renew was more costly than not renewing. We went to the park on Sunday, our last day for our AP, and the next day when we got up I immediately got on MDE. Pass was no more. Agree with PP you will need to renew or purchase additional MYW tickets if you want to go in the WDW parks.

If I were in this position and couldn't move my travel days I would consider buying an AP for the Water Parks and Disney Quest, all three parks for $132 per adult. A lot cheaper then a 4 day, and you do have 12 days for the major parks before that. Another option is going to the Dark side for some of that time.

Sure wish that was an option. My AP expired two days before my trip ended. I wasn't planning on going back for awhile so wasn't planning on renewing it. But I did...now I have 2 more trips planned this year!

Thank you all for your input - just about what I expected but had to ask!
