Hi guys, not been on for a while, and suddenly its only a couple of weeks til we are back at DLP!!! This is another campervan trip - 1 night on the way down to the south of France, 2/3 days on the way back.
My Annual pass has expired a couple of weeks ago just wondered if there is a renewal deal on at the moment? I had a Fantasy pass so we can overnight at the park. DS also has a Fantasy pass but his is still valid. DH gets a carers ticket for DS.

Any top tips on the 20th anniversary events/ new things would be gratefully received. We haven't been since November, and it seems like a very long time!!!!

The Fantasy passes now allow EMH, not sure if CE-Multivantages are having a deal on the passes

Do you mean a renewal deal where you get extra months free? I think you would need to ring up and ask them (or email them) as it seems to depend on the person on whether they alert you to the deal? Plus, not sure if your AP still has to be valid when you renew?? I'm new to APs!

If not, then I think your DH can get you a discount on a new AP can't he? Is that available with a Fantasy AP? It is with Dream AP that we have.

Alternatively you could buy through a site like CE Multi like we have but I'd be concerned about getting it through the post on time (mine took about a week all told). The issue being you pay a 20 euro one off joining fee to the site and for one pass I'm not sure it is worth it by the time you add that and euro guaranteed postage in!?

HI Brummig,
I went into the passport office to ask about renewal at easter, our passes dont expire until july but we were told you can only renew and get the renewal deal for extra 6 months free if you renew within a month before your old pass expires.
We were told we were too early to renew, we explained that our passes were up at the end of july but might not be able to get there a week after ours expire so august and she said that they do give people some leway with renewal if they really cant get there before they expire so she wrote a message on the computer for each one of our passes to make sure that if we are late then they will renew them for us. I think there is a deal online on one of the sites for passes but not sure exactly what it is.

hth

oh and Disney dreams is amazing live!! If you go on the weekend i would not wait around for the first showing, At easter people were waiting for over an hour before the show started to get a good spot. But we stayed riding the rides with small lines until it finished, most people left when dreams finished so we got a fantastic spot after they left

do you mean sponsorship discount? Unfortunately no, there is a rule in place that you can't use sponsorship discount to buy any new AP if you have been an AP holder in the 2 years before buying a new one.

Ah that is a shame Elaine. Is it still that you have to live at the same address etc? Just wondering if it's worth us sponsoring my DM & DSD getting a Fantasy one when we go in November. To be honest it's probably not worth it for them but it's a thought (and I guess depends on the RO rate for the dates we are going as opposed to a package deal for them) :confused3.

ETA - actually just realised I could get them with shareholder's discount! Sorry, that doesn't help the OP though!

you don't have to be related in any way, shape or form to sponsor someone for their new AP purchase, so the same address thing isn't an issue :).

Thanks for that Elaine. Other option is Ce Multi for them. If they have a good offer on later in the year, it might be useful as I have paid the 20 euro fee which doesn't run out until Feb 2013. :)

Thanks for the advice guys. We were hoping to get back in Feb couple of months before it expired, but didn't make it due to family illness. I can't complain if we have to pay full price - we've got lots of use out of them!

Will definately try to see Dreams. We are there on a Friday and Saturday.
