Annual Pass question

Hello,

I am purchasing the annual pass on the UO website for my March trip. There are two options: pick up at Will Call or deliver thru FedEx International (I live in Canada).

Since a signature is required for the FedEx option, it might be a problem if they deliver during regular working hours and I am at work. But then, I would like to have the pass in my hand when I check in at Royal Pacific Hotel. Will there be a huge line at Will Call to pick up my pass?

Any suggestions? I have not been to Universal Orland for years and this is my first time staying onsite and its only going to be myself and my DD13! I just wanted to plan it out nicely for a smooth trip.

Thanks in advance!

If you use electronic pick up at the Will Call kiosks, you shouldn't have a long wait but you will need the credit card and confirmation number. Once the tickets are printed, you would take them to the gate and they would be activated when you enter. It's really easy and as stated...not usually a long wait.

Thanks! I purchased the Preferred Annual Pass... is the actual pass a paper ticket or a plastic card (like credit card)???

Universal doesn't issue the plastic APs any longer...they are the Tyvek material. Mine is still plastic but it's from 2005 and I hope I don't lose it.

Just received my AP thru FedEx :cool1: It is the same as the normal regular looking Day ticket but with Annual Pass and my name printed on the back! Wow...for almost $300 bucks you'd think UO would use better materials for the AP! Just hope I don't accidentally ruin it. Does anyone know if its replaceable if damaged?

I believe that they are like the Disney tickets/APs...made of Tyvek, not normal paper. Since Tyvek is the material they put on house frames before the outside walls go on, it's pretty tough.

But yes, I'm pretty sure they are easily replaceable if ruined somehow.

Universal and Disney use the same Tyvek tickets. The plastic credit card type passes are actually less durable than the others. I had to have my Universal AP replaced when it broke...yup...broke.

WOW!! Fedex only took 2 days to get it to you in Canada?!
Excellent!!

We're in Canada too. We'll need to show our AP's because we booked an APH rate for the hotel. I can't decide if I want to go to Will Call to get them before checking in, or just have them fedexed.

pick them up when you arrive at the park.

show the AP card to the hotel front desk during your stay so the rate will be unchanged.

as long as you show the AP before you check out, no problem.

Yep, ordered it Tuesday and picked it up at a FedEx office on Thursday pm. They tried to deliver it to my house in the morning but I called them at noon and told them to leave it at a FedEx location for me to pick it up after work. Super quick! I was actually debating if I should pick it up at Will Call or have it shipped but I feel better to have everything in hand and ready to go.

I also ordered a separate 3Day PTP ticket from undercoverT******* (not sure if we can mention websites here) for my DD13 on Sunday and it also arrived Thursday (but that was thru regular mail).

So, I'm now all ready to go!
:woohoo:

minnie, you can mention undercover tourists here.
it's not an issue.
